Privacy policy

Effective July 2026 · Last updated August 2026

This policy describes how CurrentAds (“CurrentAds,” “we”), Tennessee, United States, handles personal information collected through currentads.net and the client portal. Questions or requests: contact@currentads.net.

What we collect

You provide it: growth-plan and contact forms (name, work email, phone if you choose, company, website, industry, budget range, goals, channels); your preferred call window (weekday mornings, afternoons, or evenings, Eastern) if you pick one; if you book a call through our scheduling page, the booking is processed by Cal.com, our scheduling provider, which receives the name, email, and details you enter, and the calendar invite and video link are then delivered through Google Calendar and Google Meet; portal accounts (login email, a hashed password, and the campaign performance data connected to your engagement); partner-program inquiries; and messages you send us.

Collected automatically: usage and device data (pages viewed, referrer, approximate location from IP, browser and device type) and hosting and security logs through our infrastructure provider, Cloudflare. We also run Google Analytics 4 on this site to measure our own marketing; Google receives your device and usage data and sets its own cookies, and some state laws treat that as “sharing” for targeted advertising. See the Cookie policy for the tag, the cookies it sets, the consent defaults, and your choices, and Do Not Sell or Share to opt this browser out. This site is for business use; we do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.

Data we handle when we run marketing for a client

Running a full online marketing program means we operate tools that process data on a client’s behalf. Depending on the services purchased, that can include: website, search, and campaign analytics through Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, and advertising platform reporting; heatmaps and session recordings of site visits, configured so that recordings exclude the contents of form fields; call tracking, which captures call metadata such as the calling number, time, duration, and the campaign or page that produced the call, and, where the client enables it and the required call notice is given, call recordings; email and SMS marketing data such as subscriber lists, consent and opt-out records, and send, open, click, reply, and unsubscribe events; and customer relationship management (CRM) data such as lead records, notes, and pipeline status that a client shares with us or connects to their reporting.

For that work the client decides why and how the data is used and CurrentAds acts on their instructions as their service provider. Data inside a client’s advertising, analytics, email, SMS, or CRM accounts belongs to that client. If you are a customer of one of our clients and want your information accessed, corrected, or deleted, contact that business directly, or write to contact@currentads.net and we will pass the request to them.

What is deployed on currentads.net itself is listed in the Cookie policy.

How we use it

To respond to inquiries and deliver the growth plan you requested; to schedule and hold calls; to prioritize inquiries internally; to provide and secure the client portal; to perform client engagements; to send service messages and, only with a working unsubscribe, marketing email; to operate and improve the site; to comply with law; and to enforce our terms.

Artificial intelligence

The assistant on this site is software, not a person, and it identifies itself as software before you type anything. Your messages are sent to Cloudflare Workers AI for inference and are not stored by us beyond showing you the conversation in your own browser. Cloudflare’s published policy is that Customer Content is not used to train models. We do not put your personal information, or personal information belonging to a client’s customers, into a third-party AI tool for model training, and we do not use AI to make automated decisions about you. The full picture — where AI is used in client work, where we refuse to use it, and every subprocessor — is on the AI use policy page.

How we share it

We do not sell personal information for money. We share it with service providers under contract: Cloudflare (hosting, email routing, and the Workers AI inference that powers the site assistant), Cal.com (call scheduling), Google Workspace / Google Calendar / Google Meet (email, calendar invites, and video calls), Brevo (transactional and marketing email), and Stripe, our payment processor, when billing is active. Stripe processes card payments on our behalf and receives the card and billing details you enter at checkout; CurrentAds does not store full card numbers. We run Google Analytics 4 on this website to measure our own marketing, and Google receives device and usage data from it; under some state laws that is “sharing” for targeted advertising, and you can opt out (see “Your privacy rights”). The tag is loaded with advertising and analytics storage denied for any browser that has opted out or that sends a Global Privacy Control signal. The same treatment applies to any further measurement tag we add. We may also disclose information to comply with law, protect rights and safety, or in a merger, financing, or sale of the business. Data in a client’s ad account belongs to that client; we process it on their behalf.

Retention

Lead and inquiry records: up to 24 months after last contact, then deleted or anonymized. Client engagement records: the engagement plus 7 years (tax and legal). Portal accounts: for the engagement; access ends when the engagement ends. First-party traffic logs: 14 months, cookieless and aggregate, with no IP address stored (see Cookie policy). Hosting and security logs: retained by Cloudflare per their infrastructure policy. Marketing email data: until you unsubscribe, plus a suppression record.

Your privacy rights

Depending on your state (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Virginia, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws), you may have the right to know/access the personal information we hold, correct it, delete it, receive a portable copy, opt out of targeted advertising and “sale” or “sharing,” and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

Exercise rights: email contact@currentads.net with the subject “Privacy request.” We verify requests (typically by confirming control of the email on file) and respond within the time required by law, generally 45 days. Opt out of sharing / targeted advertising: use the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link in the footer, or send a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser, we honor GPC for the browser that sends it. Appeals: if we deny a request, reply to our decision email with “Appeal”; if the appeal is denied, you may contact your state attorney general. Authorized agents may submit requests with proof of authorization.

California notice at collection: we collect identifiers, commercial information, internet activity, professional information, and inferences (lead score) for the purposes above; we retain them as described in “Retention”; we do not collect sensitive personal information and do not sell personal information for money. Our Google Analytics 4 tag does constitute “sharing” under the CCPA as amended, opt out via the footer link or GPC.

Visitors outside the United States

The site is operated from and intended for the United States. If you access it from the EEA or UK: our legal bases are contract, legitimate interests, and consent where required; you also have rights to object, to restrict processing, and to complain to your supervisory authority. Contact contact@currentads.net.

Security

Delegated platform access instead of shared passwords, least-privilege access, encryption in transit, hashed portal passwords. No method is 100% secure; we notify affected users of breaches as required by law. More at /security.

Marketing email and text messages

Our marketing emails identify us, include our postal address, and contain a working unsubscribe honored within 10 business days. Requesting a growth plan does not subscribe you to a newsletter, you only get the plan and scheduling emails you asked for, plus service messages, unless you separately opt in.

We only send calls or text messages to a phone number where you gave us that number and separately checked the consent box next to it. Consent is never a condition of buying anything. Message and data rates may apply, message frequency varies, you can reply STOP at any time to stop messages and HELP for help, and we keep a suppression record of the opt-out. Phone numbers collected for this purpose are not sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing.
